The Elliot Lake Jr Wildcat Peewee team travelled to Porcupine on the weekend to play in their first tournament of the season. They played 5 games from Friday to Sunday and went undefeated for the weekend.
It was an exciting 3-2 final over the Kapuskasing Icehawks to win the gold medal.
This was the first of four tournaments for Peewee team made up of 16 players from Elliot Lake, Cutler and Blind River. The first regular season game is Sunday.
